About the role

This role involves engaging and empowering children through facilitation of activities that promote autonomy, relatedness, and competency. You will support the development of social-emotional confidence and essential life skills, plan and implement programmes ranging from community-building activities to social learning and co-creation projects, and work with stakeholders to foster a supportive, child-centric ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

Facilitate children's participation in activities that promote autonomy, relatedness, and competency

Support the development of social-emotional confidence and essential life skills

Plan and implement programmes ranging from community-building activities to social learning and co-creation projects

Adapt and refine programmes based on children's needs and feedback

Work with stakeholders to foster a supportive, child-centric ecosystem

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, parents, and volunteers

Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth programme operations

Identify areas for innovation and contribute to continuous improvements

Assist in 3Pumpkins' projects and fundraising events as needed

About you

At least 2 years of experience in volunteering/community work, with a strong track record in supporting children and youth

Strong initiative in designing and leading child-centric activities aimed at improving SEL, numeracy, and life skills

Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Flexibility and creativity in a dynamic community-focused environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to both individual and team goals
