Key Responsibilities

Assist the WSH Officer in implementing and maintaining the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System on site.

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.

Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with MOM, LTA, and project safety requirements.

Assist in carrying out risk assessments, safe work procedures, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and safety induction for new workers.

Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers and subcontractors.

Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, and other WSH documentation.

Follow up on corrective and preventive actions arising from safety inspections and audits.

Assist in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and prepare the necessary reports.

Coordinate with site personnel, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders to promote a safe working environment.

Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and emergency response procedures.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or WSH Officer.

Requirements

Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.

Minimum 2 years of relevant construction site safety experience in Singapore.

Experience in LTA, MRT, viaduct, tunnel, or major civil infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

Possess a valid Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC) Certificate recognized in Singapore.

Good knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, WSH Regulations, and MOM requirements.

Familiar with risk assessment, permit-to-work systems, and safe work procedures.

Able to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and workers.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
