About the Role
We are seeking a permanent, part-time Assistant Manager for one of our largest centres in Queensland. Owned by the QLD Master Franchisee and located in the heart of Ashgrove, this role offers the right candidate the opportunity to combine a passion for educating youth with their leadership, sales, and management skills.
You will assist our Centre Manager in leading a team of around 25 highly engaged tutors, interacting daily with motivated students and their supportive parents.
Key Responsibilities
This role supports our Centre Manager for at least 20 hours per week, with the expectation that hours will increase to take on more responsibility as your confidence grows. Under the direction of the Manager, you will use our established systems and proven methods to:
Handle enquiries from new families and conduct initial assessments
Create and maintain tailored Maths and English learning plans
Tutor Maths and/or English as required
Report to parents on student progress and future learning pathways
Assist with recruiting, training, mentoring, and rostering specialist tutoring staff
Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the centre
Skills and Experience
While teaching, customer service, and sales experience are highly valued, we are primarily looking for candidates who demonstrate:
A genuine passion for education and an intrinsic enjoyment of working with children
An ability to quickly connect and communicate effectively with both students and parents
Strong competency in primary and secondary Mathematics and English
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Australian work rights required for this position
