Project Lead Architect
Multi-Residential, Mixed Use & Build to Rent | Sydney CBD | $110,000 – $140,000 + Super (depending on experience)

We are partnering with a highly regarded national design practice recognised for delivering some of Australia's most significant residential, mixed use and urban developments.
Due to continued project growth and an unexpected vacancy within the team, the studio is looking to appoint a Senior Architect or Project Leader to join its Sydney office as soon as possible.

With a strong pipeline of residential and Build to Rent projects, this is an opportunity to join a design-led practice known for its technical excellence, collaborative culture and commitment to delivering high quality architecture at scale.

The Opportunity
Working closely with Partners, Directors, Principles and senior project teams, you will play a key role in the delivery of medium to large scale residential and Build to Rent developments across Sydney.

You will be given genuine ownership of projects, taking them through design development, documentation, consultant coordination and delivery while maintaining design intent and technical excellence.

The practice operates entirely in Revit, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working within a highly coordinated BIM environment and collaborating with experienced project teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate residential, mixed use and Build to Rent projects
• Manage consultant coordination and stakeholder communication
• Produce and oversee high quality Revit documentation
• Drive project delivery while maintaining design quality and technical excellence
• Support client engagement and project presentations
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Contribute to project planning, programme management and delivery outcomes
• Collaborate closely with studio leadership on project strategy and execution

About You
• Senior Architect or Project Leader with proven experience delivering complex multi unit residential projects
• 6+ years of experience within an Australian architectural practice
• Strong Revit capability is essential
• Proven experience delivering residential projects, ideally medium to high density residential developments
• Build to Rent experience highly regarded
• Class 2 experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of documentation, delivery and construction processes
• Demonstrated consultant coordination and project management capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience gained within a recognised Australian architecture practice delivering medium to large scale residential projects will be highly regarded
• Stable employment history and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
