Recruitment Consultant – Nursing

6-Month Contract × 2 Positions

Thanks to growing opportunities with our clients, we’re bringing two Recruitment Consultant roles to market within cmr’s Nursing team, each on an initial 6-month contract.

You’ll be in-office in Fortitude Valley for the first three months, moving to one day from home until the end of the contract.

This role will likely suit: a Working Holiday Visa holder with recruitment experience looking for an Australian opportunity, someone who hasn’t worked in recruitment yet but has the sales foundations to back themselves in a fast-paced, target-driven desk or someone wanting to try out a new agency with high volume or RPO experience.

Either way, you’ll need to hit the ground running. This isn’t a slow ramp-up role. We need people who can bring energy from day one and back themselves to perform.

What will you bring?

• Recruitment experience or phone sales experience — this is essential, whether that’s agency recruitment or a strong phone sales background
• The ability to hit the ground running — you’ll be expected to get up to speed quickly and start contributing early
• A sales mindset — confidence on the phone, resilience, and a genuine drive to hit and exceed target
• Target-driven energy — comfortable working towards KPIs in a fast-paced desk environment
• Openness to the nursing specialty — background or interest in healthcare is a bonus, not a requirement

What will you be doing?

• Running a full-cycle desk across nursing recruitment — sourcing, screening and placing candidates into live roles
• Driving your own business development — building relationships with clients and candidates from the outset
• Building genuine candidate relationships — owning conversations and follow-through with the people you place
• Working at pace — contributing to a desk that’s scaling because our clients need us to scale with them
