Are you an experienced Legal Secretary or Senior Legal Executive Assistant looking for a role where you can truly make a difference?

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with law firm experience who enjoys taking ownership, being trusted to get things done, and playing an integral role in the success of a business. You'll work closely with the founders and help ensure the practice continues to run smoothly as we grow.

The role is based in our CBD office with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.

About the Role

As Legal Office Coordinator you will be at the heart of the firm, ensuring operations run seamlessly while providing high level support to the leadership team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the practice and keeping everything running efficiently

Overseeing finance and administration tasks, working alongside our part time CFO

Acting as the firm's key administrator for our technology platforms, including iManage and Clio

Providing executive support to the founders, including diary management and general EA responsibilities

Contributing to process improvements and helping the business continue to build a best-practice firm

If desired, taking on paralegal responsibilities to further develop your skills and broaden your role

About You

You are an experienced legal professional who enjoys being the person others rely on. You are highly organised, commercially minded and thrive in environments where you can take initiative and have genuine influence.

Ideally, you will bring:

Previous experience as an Legal Office Coordinator, Practice Manager, Senior Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant within a law firm

Outstanding organisational and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Confidence managing stakeholders and supporting senior professionals

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Advanced Microsoft Word skills

Experience with iManage (highly regarded) and the ability to quickly learn Clio

The ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and effectively "manage up"

A positive working style, professionalism and a good sense of humour
