About the role

We are seeking a Part-time Responsible Tutor specialising in English, Mathematics and Science to join Skyrocket Tuition Agency. This is a part-time position based in Singapore offering you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic development whilst being part of a dynamic tutoring organisation. As a tutor teaching at students' homes or at tuition centres, you will be instrumental in helping students achieve their educational goals through engaging, personalised instruction across multiple core subjects.

What you'll be doing

Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in English, Mathematics and Science to students across various educational levels

Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to individual student learning styles and academic needs

Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents

Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic confidence

Prepare study materials, worksheets and resources to reinforce key concepts and learning objectives

Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, progress and areas for improvement

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance and development

Collaborate with the Skyrocket Tuition Agency team to ensure consistency in educational standards and student satisfaction

What we're looking for

Strong subject matter expertise in English, Mathematics and Science with the ability to teach across multiple levels

Teaching experience or formal qualifications in education, such as a teaching degree or relevant certification

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly

Dedication to student success and a genuine passion for education and learning

Ability to work independently and manage multiple students whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism

Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons effectively and meet deadlines

Patience, empathy and a supportive approach to working with students of varying abilities

Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to consistent attendance and professional conduct

Preferred: Experience with examination preparation or knowledge of Singapore's education system and curricula
