JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead end-to-end data migration initiatives across enterprise applications and platforms. The successful candidate will define migration architecture, data migration strategies, data quality frameworks, reconciliation processes, and oversee technical delivery for large-scale transformation programs. The role requires strong expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, cloud platforms, and enterprise application migrations such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or legacy system modernization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Migration Strategy & Architecture

Define enterprise data migration architecture and roadmap.

Develop migration frameworks, standards, and best practices.

Create source-to-target mapping specifications.

Design data validation and reconciliation processes.

Establish migration governance and controls.

Solution Design

Design scalable and secure migration solutions.

Define data integration patterns and architecture.

Perform data profiling and impact assessment.

Develop migration runbooks and cutover plans.

Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Data Quality & Governance

Define data quality rules and validation frameworks.

Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Review migration design documents and technical deliverables.

Conduct architecture reviews and technical quality assurance.

Support performance tuning and optimization activities

Stakeholder Management

Engage business, functional, and technical stakeholders.

Present architecture recommendations to senior leadership.

Collaborate with project managers and solution architects.

Support business readiness and cutover activities.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

At least 8 years of experience in Data Management or Data Engineering, with experience delivering large-scale data migration projects.

Strong experience in SQL and Database Administration.

Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Azure SQL.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Informatica, SSIS, Talend and Databricks.

Experience in Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management and Data Governance.

Experience in Data Profiling, Data Transformation, Data Validation, Data Reconciliation and Cutover Planning.
