MPI Recruitment is seeking experienced Dewatering Technicians to join our client, a gold producer in the Gold Fields region of WA.

8/6, 7/7 FIFO from Perth

3-month contract with the potential to extend

The role:
As a Dewatering Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting open pit mining operations by ensuring dewatering infrastructure is installed, maintained and operating efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, relocating and removing poly pipelines, diesel pumping systems and associated dewatering equipment

Inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing pumping systems to minimise downtime and maximise production

Carrying out preventative maintenance and ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and contributing to a positive safety culture.

What we're looking for:

Current C class driver's licence

PMBWELD301B – butt welding of pipelines and piping components

Integrated Tool Handler qualifications or relevant practical experience

Previous experience in mine site dewatering operations

A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work well within a team.
