Who We Are
Ability in Disability (AID) is a registered NDIS provider working alongside Kalon Meraki, which has been supporting people with disability and their families across Western Australia for many years.

CURRENT VACANCIES
BUTLER – Active Overnight Behaviour Support
Monday–Sunday | 10:00pm–6:00am
We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Workers for active overnight support.
The role includes:
Behaviour support throughout the night
Toileting assistance
Resettling and sleep support
Monitoring wellbeing and changes in presentation
Following Behaviour Support Plans and established strategies
Accurate overnight documentation and handover
Applicants should be confident working independently overnight and responding calmly and therapeutically to behaviours of concern.
CLARKSON – High Intensity Support
We are seeking experienced High Intensity Support Workers with availability for:
Active Overnight
Tuesday
Thursday
Saturday
Day Shifts
Monday: 7:30am–3:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am–3:30pm
Monday and Wednesday supports include school-related shifts.
This participant is non-ambulant and requires high-quality complex care, including:
Enteral feeding
Respiratory monitoring
Seizure monitoring
Repositioning and pressure care
Personal care
Manual handling
Community and school participation
You must be confident and competent driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle/van.
Previous experience supporting non-ambulant participants with complex medical needs is highly desirable.
COTTESLOE – Complex Clinical Active Overnight Support
Active Overnight | 9:00pm–7:00am
Current availability required:
Fridays
Alternating Saturdays
Alternating Sundays
We are seeking experienced High Intensity Support Workers and/or Registered Nurses with competencies in complex clinical care.
Supports include:
Tracheostomy care
Airway and respiratory monitoring
Adrenal insufficiency management and emergency protocols
Enteral feeding
Medication support
Clinical observation
Escalation and emergency response
Active overnight care
Applicants must be confident working with complex clinical presentations and following individualised clinical care and emergency management plans.
KARDINYA – Behaviour Support | Female Youth
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behaviour Support Worker to support a young female participant with Autism and behaviours of concern.
Female Support Worker preferred due to the participant’s personal support needs and circumstances.
Current Shifts
Monday–Friday | 2:00pm–7:00pm
Supporting the participant and working alongside her family within the home environment.
Sunday | 10:00am–5:00pm
Community access alongside Dad.
This is a strongly family-centred role. We are looking for someone who understands that successful support means developing a relationship not only with the young person but working respectfully and collaboratively alongside their family.

MYKA PLACE – NEDLANDS
Youth Disability & Respite Support
Myka Place is our respite home in Nedlands, providing a welcoming environment for young people with disability and complex support needs.
We currently have several vacancies within our Myka Place team.
Youth Male – Autism, PICA & Sleep Support
Current shifts include:
Monday overnight
Tuesday overnight
Tuesday community access: 2:00pm–9:00pm
Wednesday: 7:00am–2:00pm
The participant is an active young male requiring support with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
PICA
Sleep difficulties
Behaviour and emotional regulation
Community access
Daily living activities
Maintaining a safe environment
Applicants must be active, engaged and confident supporting a young person with PICA and associated safety risks.
Female Youth – High Intensity Support
Active Overnight – Thursday
We are seeking an experienced High Intensity Support Worker to support a young female participant with:
Cerebral Palsy
Seizure management requirements
Non-verbal communication
Non-ambulant support needs
Personal care
Repositioning and manual handling
Overnight monitoring
Weekend Shifts
Additional monthly shifts include:
Saturday: 7:00am–7:00pm
Sunday: 7:00am–7:00pm
