Human Resources Business Partner
The Consortio Group comprises of three organisations under one banner, delivering centralised recruitment, payroll management and professional consulting services. We require an experienced and driven HRBP who can manage both internal human resources, and provide strong contingent workforce advice.
Key accountabilities:
- Partner with clients and internal employees to develop awareness of HR legislation, Awards, policies, processes and systems to promote compliance, facilitate best practice outcomes and mitigate risk
- Provide consultancy and advice to clients and internal employees on awards, performance management, terminations, payment issues, and feedback.
- Assisting management in achieving harmonious working relations or terminations with all internal employees thereby minimising time lost through industrial disputes and financial costs.
- Providing interpretation and guidance to managers and employees regarding Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
- Internal employee relations: Provide expert advice on complex employment matters, compliance, and case management. Assist with the mediation and resolution of employee grievances
- Compliance: provide expert advice on contingent workforce management and issues, including employer obligations
- Identifying risk areas and facilitating means to mitigate risks by providing compliance advice.
- Interpretation of Awards and EBA, including employee classifications, pay rates, working hours and conditions
- Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including the maintenance employee personnel files, P&C records and organisational charts
Selection criteria:
- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications
- Previous experience working in a recruitment or payroll agency specialising in contingent workforce
- Excellent knowledge of human resources legislation, policies, practices and strategies, particularly as they pertain to contingent workers.
- Experience in implementing client focused human resource strategies, programs and services.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain compliance systems and procedures
- Experience balancing both internal human relations issues with the requirements of external clients
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise urgent requirements and high volumes of incoming queries
