We are looking for a Mortgage Broker who wants more than a transactional broking role. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building trust, solving problems, creating great client experiences and growing alongside an ambitious business.

About the role

As a Mortgage Broker at Pursue Wealth, you will guide clients through one of the most important financial decisions they make. You will support clients from the first conversation through to approval, settlement and ongoing review, while working closely with a broader team across advice, accounting and property.

You will have the benefit of working with clients who value advice, education and long-term relationships, not just the cheapest rate. The right person will care about doing things properly, communicating clearly and helping clients feel supported at every stage. This is a full-time, 4 days in the office-based role, working alongside the team in our South Melbourne office, rather than remotely.

What you'll do

· Meet with clients to understand their goals, financial position and borrowing needs.

· Assess lending capacity, research options and recommend suitable loan solutions.

· Prepare, submit and manage loan applications from lodgement through to settlement.

· Communicate clearly with clients, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers and internal stakeholders.

· Deliver a high-quality client experience that is calm, proactive and easy to understand.

· Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities to improve client outcomes over time.

· Contribute to business growth through referrals, networking and referral partner relationships.

· Maintain strong compliance standards, including NCCP and responsible lending obligations.

What you'll bring

· Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, with Diploma highly regarded.

· Current Credit Representative status, or the ability to obtain it.

· Experience in mortgage broking, banking, lending or financial services.

· Strong understanding of residential lending products, policies and loan structures.

· A client-first approach, with the confidence to educate, guide and reassure clients.

· Clear communication, strong organisation and sharp attention to detail.

· A growth mindset, with the drive to keep improving your craft and commercial outcomes.

Experience with ApplyOnline, Mercury Nexus, Salestrekker or similar systems will be highly regarded, as will established lender or referral partner relationships and an interest in broader wealth creation and property strategies.
