HR Business Partner
Parramatta | $130,000–$135,000 + Super | Hybrid

Elements Recruitment is partnering with a large, values-led organisation to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner supporting a broad operational portfolio across Western Sydney.
This is a fast-paced, regulated environment where you’ll work closely with frontline and operational leaders, balancing day-to-day employee matters with broader people projects and initiatives.

The Role
As a trusted partner to operational leaders, you’ll provide practical HR advice across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, performance management and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing complex ER matters from initial issue through to resolution
• Coaching managers through performance and conduct concerns
• Managing investigations, disciplinary processes and terminations
• Navigating compliance breaches while ensuring procedural fairness
• Providing Award advice, employment legislation and HR policy
• Building manager capability and confidence across people matters
• Supporting workforce planning, organisational change and engagement initiatives
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement
• Supporting traineeships, training and capability-building initiatives
• Partnering with specialist teams across Talent, WHS and Safeguarding

While there is scope to contribute strategically, this is predominantly a hands-on, operational HRBP role. You’ll need to be agile, comfortable moving between competing priorities and confident working directly with managers to resolve issues.
You’ll also contribute across change management, workforce reporting, leadership capability, HR policy and broader compliance activities.

About You
You’ll ideally bring:

• Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist
• Strong, autonomous employee and industrial relations capability
• Experience managing performance, disciplinary and termination processes
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
• Confidence coaching, influencing and challenging operational leaders
• Experience within not-for-profit, education, aged care or community services highly regarded
• Experience working within a regulated or compliance-driven environment
• A practical, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to get into the detail
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or a related discipline
