An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team delivering a diverse portfolio of civil construction projects.

This role will suit a proactive construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in contract management, contractor performance, project delivery, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your new role

• Lead the delivery of civil infrastructure and construction projects from inception through to completion.
  
• Manage complex construction contracts and contractor performance.
  
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams and staff.
  
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, budget, program, quality, and safety requirements.
  
• Engage and negotiate with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  
• Monitor project risks, variations, and contractual obligations.
  
• Prepare and review reports, project documentation, and performance metrics.
  
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience managing civil construction and infrastructure projects.
  
• Advanced contract management and contract administration expertise.
  
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Proven experience leading and mentoring staff.
  
• Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, and risk management.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
