Woods Grain Pty Ltd is part of Woods Group, a vertically integrated regional agribusiness operating across grain, stockfeed, food manufacturing, transport, warehousing, logistics, administration and related support functions.
We are seeking a full-time ICT Support Officer to provide practical ICT support to employees and managers across our business.
About the Role
This role will support internal users with ICT support, business systems, software, hardware, user access, documentation, troubleshooting and training.
The role will also assist with the controlled use of approved AI and digital tools, including user guidance, process documentation, workflow support and responsible use of technology across the business.
This is a practical support role suited to someone with ICT support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, good documentation ability and a service-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
providing ICT support to employees and managers;
troubleshooting user issues involving software, hardware, devices, access, connectivity, printing and business systems;
supporting users with approved business systems, digital tools and common software platforms;
recording support requests, actions taken, unresolved issues and resolution outcomes;
assisting with onboarding and offboarding system access requirements;
preparing and maintaining user guides, process notes, training material and support documentation;
supporting business system use across administration, finance, HR, QA, technical services, operations and management users;
assisting with basic device setup, user handover and equipment support;
identifying recurring ICT issues, system gaps and practical improvement opportunities;
supporting the controlled use of approved AI tools, including confidentiality, accuracy checking and responsible use expectations;
maintaining confidentiality, cybersecurity awareness and responsible access to business systems.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants should have:
demonstrated experience in ICT support, technical support, computer systems support, business systems support or a similar user support role;
experience troubleshooting hardware, software, devices, user access, connectivity or business systems issues;
experience supporting computer systems, user accounts, software platforms, documentation or technical service requests;
ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users;
good working knowledge of common business software, Microsoft Office and digital systems;
basic understanding of networking, connectivity, device setup and escalation processes;
strong documentation, organisation and follow-through;
a practical, service-focused approach;
good attention to detail and respect for confidentiality, cybersecurity and system access controls.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
Applicants should have a relevant qualification in information technology, computer systems, networking, telecommunications, business systems or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated ICT support experience.
A current driver’s licence is required or must be able to be obtained, as occasional support across Woods Group sites may be required.
Additional training or certification in ICT support, networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft platforms, business systems, AI tools or service management would be advantageous.
