Business Services Manager
A new opportunity for an experienced Business Services professional to step into a Manager role with genuine autonomy and a clear path to progression.
About The Role
This firm is seeking a Business Services Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients while mentoring a team of intermediate and senior accountants. You will work closely with Partners on complex compliance and advisory matters, playing a key role in the ongoing development of the business services division.
What You Will Be Doing
Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, including preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns
Providing tax planning and advisory support to clients
Reviewing work prepared by intermediate and senior staff and providing technical guidance
Liaising directly with clients on an ongoing basis, building long term relationships
Assisting with the training and development of junior team members
Contributing to the WIP and billing process for your portfolio
Working closely with Partners on advisory and structuring matters
What We Are Looking For
CA or CPA qualified
Minimum 5 years experience in a public practice environment
Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
Proven experience reviewing the work of junior staff
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build client relationships
A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
