Jobwire is looking for a highly organised internal sales support to join our clients growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, purchasing, inventory management, freight coordination, and import/export administration.

Working closely with customers, suppliers, freight providers, and warehouse teams, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently from supplier to warehouse and ultimately to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer and e-commerce orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide professional customer service and phone support
  • Support the sales team with order processing and administration
  • Coordinate dispatch and delivery activities with warehouse teams and transport providers
  • Review customer orders to ensure accurate pricing, product selection, and delivery requirements
  • Raise and manage purchase orders with local and international suppliers
  • Coordinate inbound shipments and monitor supplier delivery schedules
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, and suppliers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements
  • Track import shipments and assist in resolving freight issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment planning
  • Maintain accurate records across sales orders, purchase orders, inventory, freight, and warehouse movements
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, import/export, or operations support
  • Exposure to warehouse operations, inventory management, or stock control
  • Experience coordinating freight movements, shipments, or supplier deliveries
  • Understanding of import/export processes and international supply chains
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Strong computer skills and confidence working across multiple systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Exposure to MYOB Advanced (highly regarded)
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
