Our restaurant is a fine dining steakhouse located in Liverpool, dedicated to delivering exceptional steaks, quality produce, and memorable dining experiences. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive excellence across all aspects of our operation.

About the Role

As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for kitchen operations, menu execution, food quality, team leadership, and cost management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who has experience in high-volume restaurants and a passion for premium steak and grill cooking.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team.

Oversee daily kitchen operations and service.

Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Manage food costs, stock control, and ordering.

Create seasonal specials and contribute to menu development.

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Manage kitchen rosters and labour costs.

Train and develop junior chefs and kitchen staff.

Maintain a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment.

About You

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.

Strong experience with steak, grill, and premium dining operations.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Excellent understanding of food costing and kitchen financials.

Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety requirements.

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 + Super (depending on experience)
