About the Role

We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 electrical contractor to recruit a Graduate Accountant for their growing Brisbane finance team. With continued business growth and a strong pipeline of major electrical projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate looking to build their career in a commercial, hands-on environment.

You’ll work closely with the finance team and gain practical exposure across day-to-day accounting, reporting and financial processes. Rather than being limited to one area, you’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of finance within a large and growing contracting business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and finance activities across the business
• Support month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Assist with accounts payable, receivable and general ledger transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Work closely with the finance team while taking on greater responsibility as you develop
• Support with end-to-end payroll processing

What You’ll Bring

• Recently completed or nearing completion of an Accounting degree
• Strong interest in developing a long-term career in accounting and finance
• Sound understanding of accounting principles from university studies
• Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment

Salary & Benefits

• Up to $90K + Super, depending on experience
