The opportunity

We are in the market for an experienced and qualified Coordinator City Parks.

This is an opportunity to lead and shape the future of one of the City’s most visible and valued service areas. As Coordinator City Parks, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering high‑quality parks, reserves and natural spaces that support community wellbeing, environmental stewardship and Mandurah’s liveability. Working with a passionate and skilled leadership team, you will oversee the operational delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programs, while driving continuous improvement across service delivery. You will influence how parks services evolve to meet the needs of a growing community, balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership to make a tangible difference to the places people use every day.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualification in a discipline relevant to the field of operations of the position.
  • Hold a current unrestricted “C” class national driver’s licence
  • Minimum of ten (10) years recent experience in managing parks and gardens
  • Extensive experience and broad knowledge in parks maintenance.
  • Experience and broad knowledge in tenders and contracts administration.
  • Experience in leading and management of large operational teams to deliver operational programs
