At ABBA Engineering, we support major maintenance, shutdown and project delivery across Western Australia.

Behind every successful job is a well-organised stores team making sure the right parts, tools and materials are ready when they’re needed. We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Storeperson to join our Goldfields team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

This is not a role where you’ll be sitting behind a desk all day. You’ll be part of the action — receiving deliveries, managing stock, supporting the workshop, and making sure our teams have what they need to get the job done.

About the Role

Reporting to the Goldfields Area Manager, you will support the day-to-day stores and warehouse operations, ensuring materials, parts, tools and equipment are available to support workshop and site activities.

Every day will be different, with changing priorities and new challenges — so we’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and ready to get involved.

What Your Day May Include

Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

Unloading and storing materials, parts and equipment

Issuing parts, consumables and tools to workshop teams

Preparing materials for site requirements and projects

Updating inventory records in Simpro

Conducting stocktakes and investigating discrepancies

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

Supporting workshop and operations teams with daily requirements

Success in this role means:

The workshop and site teams have the parts and materials they need, when they need them

Stock is organised, easy to find and accurately recorded

Deliveries are received and processed efficiently

The warehouse remains safe, clean and well maintained

Stock shortages and issues are identified early and resolved quickly

Clear and practical stores processes are developed, documented and followed consistently

The team can rely on you to keep things moving behind the scenes

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to have a perfect background — we’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes ownership.

You will bring:

Experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or similar role

Current MR license

Current forklift licence (LF)

Experience in mining, manufacturing, workshop or industrial environments (preferred)

Good attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic computer skills and confidence using systems

A practical attitude and willingness to help where needed

Experience with inventory systems such as Simpro will be highly regarded.
