Fast growing Australian owned International Freight Forwarder located Botany seeking experienced Customer Service Representative to join team in modern offices at Botany .
The roll is Monday - Friday full time office hours, some WFH may be offered once settled in role.
Job Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the engine of the company! This role you will take customer enquiries and quote procuring best prices with overseas partners, carriers and local providers for best possible outcome. You will clearly identify current customer needs for best possible outcome and how they can benefit from on every shipment. Providing excellent customer service is essential in this position. Customer Service, industry experience, and some prior operational experience is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
From email or call you will take enquiry
You will liaise with relevant agents, carriers to find competitive rates and service
Provide quote using Cargowise platform in timely and efficient manner
Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.
Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
Order Management
Job Requirements:
Cargowise1 software a must !
High quality written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
Accurate and able to produce quality work
Dependability
Problem solver
Ability to work in teams and open to others’ views
Show respect toward others with cultural differences
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have local experience in International Freight Forwarding procurement and customer service. Understanding of operations would be ideal, however NO operations will be performed as file will be passed to Operations team .
Experience
Minimum 3 years Freight forwarding experience.
Previous customer service experience required within International Forwarding
Operational experience preferred
Salary negotiable based on your experience.
