About the role:

• Work on a broad mix of commercial disputes, including contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, property disputes, debt recovery, insolvency-related matters and general commercial litigation.
• Gain exposure to strategy, negotiations, mediations, interlocutory applications and contested court work.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and court documents across South Australian and Federal jurisdictions.
• Take ownership of files with close Partner support, while building confidence in client management and matter strategy.
• Join a team where the work is hands-on, the Partners are accessible and progression is genuinely available.

The ideal candidate:

• Commercial litigation lawyer with approximately 2+ years’ post-admission experience.
• Solid disputes background, strong drafting skills and confidence working across active litigation matters.
• Commercial, switched on and comfortable dealing with clients, counsel and opposing solicitors.
• Strong attention to detail, good judgement and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Keen to be part of a respected Adelaide disputes practice with long-term career upside.
