Workday Financials Functional Consultant

We are currently seeking an intermediate-level Workday Financials Functional Consultant to support a major Federal Government transformation program.

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical Workday Financials experience who is looking to build on their consulting capability and work across a large-scale implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business and functional requirements
• Support the design and configuration of Workday Financials solutions
• Participate in workshops, solution design sessions and prototyping
• Assist with testing, defect resolution and implementation activities
• Provide functional input across finance processes and system configuration
• Work closely with project managers, business stakeholders and technical teams
• Support project reporting and delivery activities

About You

• Around 2-5 years' experience working with Workday, ERP or enterprise financial systems
• Experience with Workday Financials highly desirable
• Good understanding of financial accounting and finance business processes
• Previous ERP experience such as Workday, Oracle or SAP
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or transformation projects
• Workday Financials certification or exposure to an end-to-end Workday implementation will be highly regarded

Security Requirements

As this role is supporting a Federal Government program, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
