About the Role

Are you a proactive Procurement Specialist who thrives on collaboration, stakeholder engagement and delivering results?

The Procurement and Supply Team at Canberra Health Services is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

In this role, you will deliver timely procurement outcomes and contribute to achieving favourable results for the organisation by effectively managing competing priorities and projects. You will provide procurement support services to a diverse range of clients, offering advice, processes and templates to support the timely progression of procurement activities, both face-to-face and electronically.

You will assist with the development of procurement and contract documentation under the guidance of senior team members, as well as procurement registration and administration. You will also prepare a range of procurement-related documentation, including minutes, Requests for Quotation/Tender, risk plans and reports, ensuring information is delivered in a consultative, efficient and timely manner.

In addition, you will coordinate procurement and contract reporting in line with CHS and ACT Government requirements, gathering information from a range of data sources and maintaining CHS and whole-of-government registers.

We are seeking a collaborative and proactive professional with strong organisational and communication skills who is not afraid to ask questions, take initiative and work closely with peers to achieve outcomes and balance workloads. Success in this role will also require a commitment to displaying behaviours that reflect the core values of Canberra Health Services.
