Account Manager – Telco & Managed IT (Inside Sales)

Telair is one of Australia's longest-standing independent business telco providers, 20 years in business, growing fast, and known for actually answering the phone when customers call. We're hiring two Account Managers to take ownership of established SMB portfolios from our Brisbane office.

The opportunity

Each role comes with an existing warm portfolio of Telair customers: small and medium business owners using us for their telco, internet, voice, and managed IT services. Your job is to know those customers, look after their renewals, and grow the relationship with new products as their business changes.

This is account management with real consultative depth. You'll work with business owners and operations leads who rely on us, not a list of cold leads to dial through. We're putting more weight on the account management function in 2026 as we scale, and these two roles are core to that.

Full-time, permanent, office-based at our Murarrie (Brisbane) office.

What you'll do

Own a portfolio of existing SMB customers and be their main point of contact at Telair.

Identify opportunities to grow each account with additional services: internet, voice, mobile, managed IT, hardware.

Manage renewals and recontracts proactively, well before contract end dates.

Quote, configure, and close new sales, supported by our solutions and sales enablement teams.

Keep your Salesforce pipeline current, accurate, and forecastable.

Coordinate with our Sales Order Processing and Service Delivery teams so customer commitments land cleanly.

Stay close to product changes so your customers always get the right advice.

About you

2+ years in B2B account management, inside sales, or phone-based business sales.

Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets with existing customers.

Consultative selling skills: you ask, listen, and recommend before you pitch.

Comfortable in Salesforce or a comparable CRM.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Australian working rights, Brisbane-based.

Strongly preferred:

Experience in telecommunications, ICT, or managed services, selling or supporting voice, internet, mobile, or IT products to SMB.

Familiarity with quoting tools and CPQ workflows.

Experience managing renewals and recontracts.

Remuneration

AUD $90,000 base + superannuation.

On-target commission of $48,000 per year (uncapped, with accelerators above target).

$138,000 OTE at target; top performers earn well above.

Full commission structure shared at offer stage.
