Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Settlement Manager, the position requires you to ensure trades are properly reconciled with the counterparties and all out trades are resolved timely as well as seek solutions to enhance workflow and assist in the back office system developments in order to increase efficiency and productivity.
Regular duties include the confirmation of positions, balances and funds movements with counterparties, accurate trade and funding entries. In addition, you will be involved in performing physical deliveries for settlement. Other duties include the performing of data entry function as well as ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in any discipline
Experience in settlement operations in the financial industry preferred
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Pro-active individual who is willing to take on new challenges
Meticulous and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Committed, self-driven and able to work effectively under pressure
Keep abreast with current developments in the industry and ensure compliance with rules and regulation
