This Factory Hand/Yard Forklift Operator role is based in Canning Vale, Western Australia. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to move ugly freight and various materials around the manufacturing floor and yard as well as work on the process floor in the mixing plant. This is an important role that supports the overall logistics and distribution operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

Operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials and goods

Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the forklift

Ensure all warehouse and yard activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner

Work closely with the manufacturing team to support the efficient flow of goods

Operating industrial mixers and extrusion machines

What we're looking for

A permanent resident or citizen of Australia

Have your own reliable transport

Hold a current high risk forklift license

Have previous experience operating a forklift, preferably in a warehousing or logistics environment moving ugly freight

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Pass a drug and alcohol screen
