We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Venue Support Officer to play a key role in the coordination, administration, and day-to-day operational support of our City Venues.
What You Will Do:
As the Venue Support Officer, you will support the efficient administration and coordination of venue users across Council's City Venues. Working closely with the Senior Venue Liaison Officer, Team Leader City Venues, and other relevant stakeholders, you will help ensure venues are delivered professionally, safely, and in alignment with Council objectives.
What We Are Looking For:
Demonstrated experience in venue and event preparation and coordination.
Current Drivers Licence with the ability to independently drive between business locations to meet operational needs.
Highly developed organisational, administrative and event coordination skills relevant to the role.
Sound experience and knowledge in coordinating resources within a public facility or similar environment.
Strong digital literacy, including well-developed practical skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work a range of irregular hours in response to operational needs.
Ability to undertake a diverse range of responsibilities, including manual tasks.
High level communication skills including a demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely and appropriately for specific audiences.
