DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (ASO6) for a contract opportunity with a large South Australian public sector organisation.
This is a hands-on HR business partnering role supporting senior leaders across a complex operational environment. You will provide high-level advice and guidance on a broad range of human resource matters, contribute to workforce initiatives, and build strong stakeholder relationships to support organisational outcomes. The role will commence within the next two weeks and is offered on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice to senior leaders and management teams.
- Support workforce planning and organisational change initiatives.
- Deliver advice on employee relations, performance management, and workforce matters.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
- Contribute to the implementation of workforce programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interpret and apply relevant industrial instruments, policies, and legislation.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Human Resources Business Partner within the South Australian Public Sector.
- Strong knowledge of public sector employment frameworks and HR practices.
- Experience providing HR advisory services across a broad range of employee and workforce matters.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing employee performance issues, complaints, and workplace disputes.
- Previous health sector experience will be highly regarded.
