Accounts Assistant
Looksmart is looking for a motivated and diligent Accounts Assistant to join our successful team based in our Head Office in Rydalmere.
Accounts Assistant responsibilities include processing payments, generating reports and managing invoices.

As we’ve grown fast in recent years, we are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic and friendly team.
About the role:
This is a full-time position where demands a consistent, reliable, stable, trustworthy and highly motivated accounts assistant to work collaboratively with the Company Accountant and operations team to achieve top results.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, monthly bank reconciliations, etc
Month end closing including prepayments, accruals, GL accounts reconciliations
Supervising AP & AR staffs
assisting with vendor and creditor enquiries
reconciling and processing petty cash transactions
Debt collection.
providing ad hoc administration support when required
About you:
A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance is required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or similar role
Strong attention to details & high level of accuracy
An ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Previous experience in MYOB and Xero is highly regarded but not essential
Experience in Microsoft programs (i.e., Word and Excel)
Have a flexible working approach – support other team members when required
Excellent communication, time management, multi-tasking and presentation skills
