This is a Fixed Term Term Full Time appointment until 27/06/2027, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile: The Senior Dietitian plans, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the delivery of timely and culturally appropriate Dietetic services for the towns and communities of the Kimberley and provides Dietetic services at an advanced practice level.

The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia. Suitability Criteria: Suitability recognises that a range of factors contribute to merit, including skills, knowledge, abilities, behaviours, ethical alignment and relevant operational requirements. The suitability requirements below are derived from the Job Description Form and define what will be assessed to determine your suitability for the role:

  1. Demonstrated experience, clinical leadership and advanced level of skills and knowledge in the planning, implementing and evaluation of Dietetic services in primary health, outpatients and acute settings, across the lifespan
  2. Demonstrates leadership working in a cross cultural setting with an understanding of primary health care principles and practice, including implementation in a rural and remote setting.
  3. Demonstrated personal, team and program/department management skills with commensurate communication skills.
  4. Current C Class drivers licence and an ability and willingness to travel including overnight stays away from home.
