A leading aerospace manufacturing company, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy analyzing processes, solving problems, working with cross-functional teams and driving measurable improvements in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, preferably Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Process & Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping.
Familiarity with Six Sigma, Kaizen, RCA and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support cross-functional continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
Analyse production and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collect and analyse data to establish performance baselines and track improvement results.
Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective actions.
Conduct Value Stream Mapping, time studies and process capability analysis.
Support the implementation of 5S, visual management, standard work and mistake-proofing initiatives.
Develop and deliver training on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Promote employee engagement and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare project reports and present findings and results to stakeholders.
Monitor and measure the impact of implemented improvement projects.
Work closely with stakeholders across different levels to drive a continuous improvement culture.
