Core Talent are currently working with a Tier 1 electrical contractor delivering major commercial, infrastructure, health and industrial projects across Queensland, and they’re looking to add Electrical Engineers to their team. We’re looking for engineers across Design and Project Engineering, with opportunities available depending on your experience and area of expertise.

Whether your background is in electrical design, project engineering or a combination of both, you’ll have the opportunity to work on major projects within an established electrical contractor.

The Role
Depending on your background, you could be working across:

• Electrical design and documentation for major projects
• Developing and reviewing electrical drawings, schematics and specifications
• Electrical services design across power, lighting, communications and associated systems
• Design development, coordination and resolving technical issues
• Working with BIM and drafting teams to coordinate electrical services
• Project engineering across procurement, programming and project delivery
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating works on site
• Reviewing technical documentation and ensuring works meet project requirements
• Working closely with site teams, consultants, clients and other stakeholders
• Supporting testing, commissioning and project handover
• Managing technical queries, variations and design changes

• $110,000 – $180,000 + Super, depending on experience

About You

We’re interested in speaking with Electrical Engineers from a range of backgrounds, including:

• Electrical Design Engineer
• Electrical Project Engineer
• Senior Electrical Engineer
• Electrical Services Engineer
• Electrical Design & Project Engineer

You’ll ideally have experience within commercial construction, building services or major electrical projects.
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of electrical services, construction and project delivery, along with the ability to work effectively with design, engineering and site teams.
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or other design/BIM platforms will be highly regarded for design-focused candidates.
