Responsibilities:
Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents.
Ensure strict compliance of Safety Case regime to identify, reduce and manage risks to “as low as reasonably practicable” (ALARP).
Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives. Maintain on-site emergency response plans and major accident prevention policies.
Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards
Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes
Review of Plant’s Safety Performance to adapt to process or operational changes.
Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
To handle any adhoc duties and tasks assigned by Department Head.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 years of work experience in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 or SS 651
Work experience in manufacturing environment.
Poses good communication, interpersonal and management skills.
Strong interest in environmental, health and safety compliance work.
