Looking for a different way to use your law degree?
This is one of those legal roles that doesn't come along very often.
Our client is one of Queensland's leading legal organisations and is seeking a lawyer to coordinate continuing professional development, conferences and legal education programs for members of the legal profession.
You'll remain closely connected to the law while working alongside senior lawyers, barristers and judges to help deliver professional education across the profession.
The role
You'll be involved in:
- Coordinating CPD programs, workshops and conferences
- Liaising with presenters, committee members and senior legal stakeholders
- Preparing committee papers, reports and written communications
- Supporting the ongoing development of legal education programs
- Assisting with professional development initiatives across the organisation
About you
We're looking for a lawyer with approximately 1-5 years' PAE who enjoys the law and is looking for a different long-term career path.
Previous conference or event management experience isn't required.
Instead, we're interested in people who have:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- High attention to detail
- A professional, calm and service-focused approach
- The confidence to engage with senior members of the legal profession
