Site Supervisor – Civil | Sydney West

Join a well-established and growing civil construction company with more than 10 years of industry experience and a strong track record delivering projects across the Sydney market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor – Civil to join the business and take ownership of site-based delivery across a range of civil infrastructure projects.

With a strong pipeline of work, the company is looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor with proven Council and Transport project experience who can lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities across civil infrastructure projects.
• Lead site crews, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
• Manage daily site operations in accordance with project programmes and construction methodologies.
• Coordinate plant, labour, materials and subcontractor resources.
• Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Interpret and work from drawings, specifications, scopes and project documentation.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and daily site briefings.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with HSEQ requirements and company standards.
• Identify and proactively manage site issues, risks and constraints.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries, reports and project documentation.
• Monitor quality of works and ensure construction activities meet required standards.
• Assist with project planning, programming and sequencing of works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and handover activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, transport authorities and project stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within civil construction.
• Council and Transport project experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site operations.
• Demonstrated experience supervising crews and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to site supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against project programmes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant civil construction qualifications or industry tickets will be highly regarded.
• White Card and relevant site-based qualifications/tickets are required.
