Description

• Partner with internal teams to identify purchasing requirements and support procurement planning.
• Source, assess, and onboard suppliers to maintain a reliable vendor network.
• Review quotes, proposals, and tenders to secure the best commercial outcomes.
• Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy across pricing, quantities, and delivery details.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are processed, shipped, and delivered on time.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and terms to reduce risk and maximise value.
• Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, pricing, service, and delivery metrics.
• Conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure compliance with contractual and ethical standards.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to optimise inventory availability.
• Proactively manage inventory to minimise shortages, excess stock, and carrying costs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify excess or obsolete stock and implement effective disposal strategies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stocktakes and analysis of usage trends.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.
• Generate reports and insights on purchasing performance, supplier metrics, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage and maintain ERP data, including product information, supplier details, and replenishment settings.
• Coordinate with international freight forwarders to ensure the timely delivery of goods.

Profile

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a Purchasing or Procurement role within a B2B industrial environment, with exposure to high-volume international purchasing and supplier management. You will be highly organised, commercially minded, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong ERP system and Excel skills, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to build lasting supplier relationships will be key to your success. Most importantly, you'll be a proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering efficient outcomes that support business operations.
