About the Role
We’re looking for trade-qualified Welders to join a well-established team in a fully equipped Henderson workshop. You’ll be involved in the welding of fixed plant equipment for mining and oil & gas sectors, working in a safety-focused and supportive environment!
- Welding of structural steel and heavy-duty components
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and general housekeeping
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete tasks accurately
- Maintain high safety standards at all times
- Opportunity to work 10–12-hour shifts, Mon -Fri
- Optional weekend work available
- Consistent 50–60 hours per week
- Competitive pay rates
- Work independently or collaboratively in a small team
- Long-term, stable position with consistent workload
What You’ll Bring
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Ability to pass a 6G weld test
- Ability to perform STT and use of a rotator *added bonus*
- Recent site or workshop experience working as a special class welder
- Ability to confidently read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- A current resume with two contactable references
