Project Manager - Retail Property & Fit-Outs

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to join a successful and growing retail business managing a diverse portfolio of retail locations.

This role will see you take ownership of retail property projects across maintenance, refurbishments, fit-outs and new store openings while working closely with operational teams, contractors, landlords and suppliers. You will play a key role in ensuring stores are delivered to a high standard, operationally efficient and aligned with the company’s brand and growth strategy.

This position is ideal for a proactive and solutions-focused professional who enjoys managing multiple projects within a fast-paced retail environment.
About the Role You will oversee a range of property and project activities across retail locations, including store upgrades, repairs, new site activations and contractor management.

The role requires strong coordination skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for keeping projects on track, managing budgets and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage retail property projects including refurbishments, fit-outs and new store openings
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, landlords and centre management teams
• Oversee maintenance requests, repairs and store presentation standards
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and delivery timeframes
• Support operational teams with property and facilities-related matters
• Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with safety and building standards
• Assist with lease and insurance-related matters where required
• Build strong working relationships across the business and with external partners

About You

• Previous experience in retail property, facilities or project management
• Strong background managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working within retail, hospitality or multi-site environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving abilities
• Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Strong organisational and time management capability
• Experience managing fit-outs or retail store openings highly regarded
