To help us get there, we're looking for an exceptional Area Manager to lead a portfolio of stores and inspire the people who bring Daniel's to life every day.

The Role

This isn't a desk job.

It's a role for someone who loves being in stores, coaching teams, solving problems, celebrating wins and helping great Store Managers become even better leaders.

You'll be the link between our Head of Retail and our stores—making sure every customer has an amazing experience, every team feels supported, and every store performs at its best.

What You'll Be Doing

📈 Driving performance

Own the results across your portfolio by growing sales, improving profitability and helping every store achieve its full potential.

👟 Coaching great leaders

Spend time where it matters—in stores. Mentor, support and challenge Store Managers to build confident, capable teams that deliver brilliant customer experiences.

⭐ Raising the standard

Champion the Daniel's way by maintaining exceptional store presentation, operational excellence, food safety and brand standards across every location.

🚀 Bringing the excitement

Lead the rollout of new products, promotions, seasonal launches and marketing campaigns so every store is customer-ready from day one.

👥 Building winning teams

Partner with HR to identify talent, develop future leaders and create succession plans that keep our stores thriving.

💰 Making smart commercial decisions

Monitor sales, wages, productivity, waste and key performance metrics to identify opportunities and support Store Managers to improve results.

🛡️ Keeping our people safe

Promote a strong safety culture where food safety, workplace safety and compliance are simply how we do business every day.

🤝 Winning together

Work closely with Retail Support, Marketing, Operations, HR and other support teams to ensure our stores have everything they need to succeed.

Who You Are

You're a retailer through and through.

You know great stores are built by great people, and you genuinely enjoy helping others succeed.

You'll probably bring:

· Experience leading multiple retail, QSR, bakery or hospitality locations.

· A passion for coaching, developing and inspiring Store Managers.

· Strong commercial acumen with experience managing sales, labour, productivity and profitability.

· Confidence using retail reporting and data to make smart decisions.

· High standards and a keen eye for customer experience and operational excellence.

· A hands-on leadership style—you'd rather be in stores than behind a desk.

· The flexibility to travel across your portfolio and support your teams wherever they're needed.
