Speech Pathologist / Senior Speech Pathologist

iThrive Health – Hillarys
Full-time | $95,000 – $125,000 + Super + Laptop
Brand-new Hillarys clinic | Clinic + Community Hybrid Role
Start date: 19 October 2026 (flexible)

A new iThrive clinic. An opportunity to grow with it.

iThrive Health is expanding into Perth’s northern suburbs with the opening of our brand-new Hillarys clinic in October 2026.

Located within the Westfield Shopping Centre complex in Hillarys, our new purpose-built clinic has been custom designed for our Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology teams, with modern therapy spaces and a welcoming environment for clinicians, clients and families.

We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist to join the Hillarys team from launch.

This opportunity is deliberately open to clinicians at different stages of their career. You may already be an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist, or you may be an established clinician looking for the support and opportunity to take the next step in your career.

The role

You’ll provide Speech Pathology assessment and therapy to a varied caseload of children, adolescents and young adults aged approximately 2–25 years.

The role combines clinic-based therapy from our new Hillarys premises with community-based work, including opportunities to work with clients within schools and other relevant community settings.

Your week will include:

Speech Pathology assessment and evidence-based therapy

A varied paediatric, adolescent and young adult caseload

A combination of clinic and community-based appointments

Collaboration with iThrive's Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology teams

Liaison with parents, teachers and other professionals involved in a client's care

Report writing and clinical documentation

Opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of our new Hillarys clinic

For candidates joining at a senior level, the role can also incorporate clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision responsibilities depending on your experience and career goals.

Support that continues when you're experienced

Clinical support shouldn't disappear once you're no longer a new graduate.

You'll receive weekly clinical supervision and leadership support from our experienced Speech Pathology Clinical Lead, alongside regular opportunities for peer support, case discussion and collaboration with the broader iThrive team.

Our aim is to give clinicians genuine autonomy while ensuring there is always experienced support available when a case is complex or you simply want another perspective.

Why join iThrive Hillarys?

$95,000 – $120,000 + Super, depending on experience and responsibilities

Brand-new, purpose-built Hillarys clinic

Modern therapy rooms and facilities

Hybrid clinic and community-based role

Weekly clinical supervision with our experienced Clinical Lead

Established multidisciplinary OT and Speech Pathology team

Diverse caseload across ages 2–25

Opportunity to join a new clinic from its beginning, backed by an established iThrive team

Genuine pathway into senior and leadership responsibilities for the right clinician

Laptop provided

Full administrative and reception support

Your clinical work

Our Speech Pathologists work with children, adolescents and young adults across a broad range of communication needs. You'll have the opportunity to assess and provide individualised, evidence-informed therapy across areas including:

Speech sounds – supporting articulation, speech clarity and confidence in communication

Language development – building receptive and expressive language skills

Early intervention – supporting young children experiencing emerging communication difficulties

Literacy and phonological awareness – developing the foundational language skills that support reading and writing

Social communication – supporting clients to communicate, connect and participate more confidently in everyday settings

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) – supporting clients who benefit from alternative or additional ways to communicate

Our approach is individualised and practical, with therapy designed around each client's strengths, needs and goals. You'll work closely with families, educators, Occupational Therapists and other health professionals to help clients build communication skills that translate into everyday life at home, school and in the community.

Depending on your experience and clinical interests, there is scope to develop particular areas of expertise while maintaining a varied caseload across our 2–25 year age range.

About iThrive

iThrive is an established Perth allied health practice providing Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services to children, adolescents, young adults and their families.

Our Hillarys clinic represents the next stage of iThrive's growth, building on the team, systems and culture established at our West Leederville clinic.

We believe great therapy comes from clinicians who feel supported, connected to their team and given the space to do their job well. We've built iThrive around strong clinical relationships, collaboration and a genuinely supportive workplace culture.

About you

We're interested in hearing from Speech Pathologists who:

Hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology

Are eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Have experience working with paediatric and/or adolescent clients

Enjoy working collaboratively with families and other professionals

Value clinical quality, relationships and teamwork

Are comfortable working across both clinic and community settings

Want to contribute to a growing team rather than simply fill a position

You do not need to already hold a Senior Speech Pathologist title to apply. If you're an experienced clinician who feels ready to take the next step, we'd be very happy to hear from you.

Likewise, if you're an established Senior Speech Pathologist looking for a role with clinical autonomy, leadership opportunities and the chance to help shape a new clinic, the position can be structured accordingly.

Preferred commencement: Monday, 19 October 2026, however we're happy to be flexible for the right person.

If you're looking for a Speech Pathology role where you can do excellent clinical work, be well supported and play a meaningful part in the growth of a new clinic, we'd love to hear from you.
