Ace Landscape & Turf Supplies is a well-established landscape and building supply business based in Belrose, servicing landscapers, builders and homeowners across Sydney.

We're looking for an experienced, creative and highly organised Marketing & Content Coordinator to take ownership of our day-to-day marketing and content.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident working independently, takes initiative and can take an idea from concept through to execution without needing constant direction.

You'll manage everything from social media, video and content creation to email marketing, our Shopify website and written content. We're looking for someone who understands how these channels work together and can help us build a strong, consistent and useful digital presence.

About the Role

You'll take responsibility for planning and implementing Ace's ongoing marketing activities, including:

Planning, creating and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube

Developing and managing a consistent content calendar across our digital channels

Creating engaging Reels, Stories, posts and YouTube Shorts

Planning, filming and editing longer-form YouTube content, including how-to videos, product guides, landscaping advice, project features and other useful customer content

Repurposing longer-form video into shorter content for Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts

Managing our YouTube channel, including uploads, titles, descriptions, thumbnails and channel organisation

Taking and editing high-quality photos and videos of products, projects, people and the business

Being comfortable behind the camera and providing basic direction to people being filmed

Creating and sending weekly marketing emails to our customer database

Managing and maintaining customer marketing data and lists using Shopify and our email marketing platform

Maintaining and updating our Shopify website, including products, images, descriptions, pricing and general website content

Writing useful and engaging blogs, articles and website content relevant to landscaping, gardening and the products we sell

Creating graphics and other marketing materials using Canva or similar

Planning and implementing seasonal campaigns, promotions, new product launches and other marketing initiatives

Keeping our branding and messaging consistent across all digital channels

Reviewing the performance of social media, YouTube, email and website content and identifying opportunities for improvement

Working with management to turn business priorities and ideas into practical marketing campaigns

Assisting with photography, filming and content creation both onsite and occasionally at other locations

About You

This isn't an entry-level marketing role.

We're looking for someone who already has practical experience in digital marketing and content creation and is comfortable being given ownership of the role.

You don't need to know everything, but you do need to be resourceful, reliable and confident figuring things out without needing someone to manage every step.

You'll ideally have:

Proven experience managing social media for a business or brand

Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Meta Business Suite

Experience filming and editing both short-form and longer-form video

A good understanding of what makes video content engaging, from planning and filming through to editing and publishing

Confidence filming other people and helping them feel comfortable and natural on camera

Experience managing or creating content for a YouTube channel

Experience using Shopify, including updating website content and products

Experience creating and sending email marketing campaigns

Excellent written communication skills and the ability to write engaging emails, blogs, articles, captions and website copy

Strong Canva or similar graphic design skills

Good photography and visual content skills

Excellent attention to detail

Strong organisational and time-management skills

The ability to manage a content calendar and plan ahead

The ability to work independently and manage your own workload

The confidence to suggest new ideas and take initiative rather than waiting to be given every task

Experience within landscaping, gardening, building supplies, home improvement or a related industry would be helpful, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone reliable, capable and proactive who genuinely enjoys creating content and taking ownership of their work.

Hours & Flexibility

We expect the position to be approximately 4 weekdays per week, up to 30 hours per week, however we're flexible about how those hours are structured for the right person.

We're open to discussing the days and start/finish times that work best for both the successful candidate and the business.

The role will primarily be based at our Belrose office and yard. Being onsite is important because a significant part of the role involves creating original content and staying connected with what's happening within the business.

There will also occasionally be opportunities to create content at other locations, so you'll need to be comfortable getting out from behind the desk and filming in different environments.
