About the role

K T Civil Group is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operator to join our team in Narrabri, NSW. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position offering a great work-life balance and ongoing employment within the mining and civil construction industry. The successful candidate will primarily operate rigid tippers and water carts, with the opportunity to operate a range of other heavy earthmoving equipment depending on experience and competencies.

Key responsibilities

Operating rigid tippers and water carts in mining and civil environments

Conducting daily pre-starts, inspections and basic equipment checks

Operating equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures

Working closely with supervisors and other operators to coordinate daily activities

Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements

Completing required documentation and operational records

Following all site safety requirements and procedures

Operating additional earthmoving equipment where competent and required

About you

Previous experience operating rigid tippers and water carts

Experience within mining and/or civil construction

Strong commitment to safety and safe operating practices

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Reliable, motivated and willing to assist across different site operations

Relevant competencies, tickets and site inductions

HR or HC Driver License (advantageous)

Excavator experience

Front-end loader experience

Moxy / articulated dump truck experience
