Operating primarily out of our Bowen office, Adaptive Strategies North Queensland (ASNQ) is the largest mental health service provider in the Whitsundays. We are currently offering employment opportunities to Psychologists, Social Workers, Nurses and Occupational Therapists with Mental Health accreditations/endorsements.
As an ASNQ clinician, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse regional population of clients with a variety of presenting issues. Your role may include providing individual psychotherapy, telehealth-based psychotherapy, and group therapy, as well as conducting workshops and seminars.
Our Director, Dr Corey Lane is a Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience in psychological service delivery and clinical supervision. He is an accredited Psychology Board and Clinical Psychologist Registrar Program Supervisor. Dr. Lane is also actively involved in research relating to ADHD and criminal justice. The right candidate(s) may have the opportunity to collaborate with him in these research areas.

To be considered for the position, you must have:
Registration as a mental health clinician with your regulatory agency and/or accreditation body
Professional Indemnity Insurance
A willingness to operate within an evidence-based treatment and assessment framework
A professional and ethical approach to your work
A willingness to accurately self-reflect and learn
Skills in self-management and teamwork
