Selection will be made at the P2 or P3 level depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.

(Additional 15% market allowance on top of salary from newly negotiated EBA.)

The Role
As the Clinical Pharmacist you will implement and manage a comprehensive onsite pharmacy service for Primary and Public Health Care including the Alice Springs Correctional Centre, Alice Springs Women’s Prison, Police Watch House and the Barkly Work Camp. This role ensures the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services to support patient care and operational needs within these facilities.

About you
To be successful, applicants will need to have:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy and registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

Demonstrated sound level of current clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge.

Sound communication skills, both written and oral, ability to work well with all other staff.

Willingness to participate in continuing education activities of self, and provision of sessions to health staff.

Ability to think laterally and problem solve independently with initiative.

Demonstrated participation in CQI activities, medication safety initiatives and managing change in the clinical environment.

An ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures.
