Sales Hire Controller

The Sales Hire Controller is responsible for managing the complete hire process from customer enquiry through to equipment return, ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role combines sales, customer service, and operational coordination and provides a clear pathway into Account Management and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and in person.

Build customer relationships and secure hire orders.

Provide advice on equipment, hire rates and terms.

Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their needs.

Manage the full hire lifecycle from order through to equipment return.

Coordinate equipment logistics and deliveries.

Maintain equipment availability and scheduling records.

Assist with servicing and calibration scheduling.

Conduct periodic stocktakes and inventory checks.

Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to deliver excellent customer service.
