Responsibilities:
Legal
Acting as a legal point of contact for all countries
Work with internal and external stakeholders in the drafting, negotiating, and processing of a broad range of contracts, amendments, corporate resolutions and other legal documents.
Maintain and administer contract repositories, ensuring contracts are accurately recorded and key contractual obligations, follow-up actions, milestones, and renewal or expiry dates are appropriately tracked.
Prepare, review, update, and maintain standard form agreements, legal templates, precedents, and other legal documentation.
Dispute Resolution
Provide litigation and disputes support to the legal team, including preparing reports, chronologies, and conducting fact-finding investigations.
Maintain global litigation reports and registers in collaboration with regional teams, ensuring entries are accurate, consistent, and aligned with source documents.
Administrative
Support the regional implementation across all jurisdictions of new policies and regulations initiated by the company.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and regulatory bodies on routine matters and follow-ups.
Perform such other legal, compliance, and administrative duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Diploma in Legal Studies, Business Law, or a related discipline.
Working understanding of contracts and basic litigation documents — comfortable reading, organising, and identifying trends or inconsistencies across multiple documents.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, adaptable to different working styles and changing work demands.
Experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding, or shipping industry is advantageous.
Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools, including Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams.
