Job Title: Purchaser / Assistant Purchaser
Location: Pioneer
Budget: Up to $4k + AWS + VB
Working hours: Monday to Friday, Saturday Half-day (WFH, standby only)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our procurement team. You will be responsible for supporting the sourcing and purchasing of marine vessel spare parts and commodity goods. This role provides a strong foundation for a career in maritime procurement and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the end-to-end procurement process for marine vessel spare parts, technical stores, provisions, and other commodities.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders accurately. Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of goods.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve issues related to quality, quantity, specifications, or invoicing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records, vendor information, and inventory reports in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.
- Verify suppliers' invoices against quotations and delivery orders. Ensure ordered items are received correctly and liaise with suppliers to resolve any mismatches.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with experience in purchasing, logistics, or the shipping industry will be preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
