Hughes Recruitment Partners is partnering with a leading Adelaide organisation to recruit an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Lead to take a senior technical role across its cloud, network and infrastructure environment.
This is a hands-on technical leadership position for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving technology environments and delivering excellent service to internal customers.
The Role
Working within the IT Operations team, you will help ensure the organisation's technology environment remains reliable, secure and fit-for-purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and supporting cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Working across AWS and Hyper-V environments
- Supporting Windows and Ubuntu server environments
- System administration including backups, patching, permissions and deployments
- Monitoring infrastructure and resolving complex technical issues
- Supporting cyber security monitoring and improvements
- Maintaining and testing disaster recovery arrangements
- Working with vendors across technology solutions and support
The role provides technical leadership across a broad range of physical and cloud-based systems.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Cloud, Infrastructure or Senior Systems Engineer who is ready to take greater ownership of a diverse enterprise environment.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong corporate infrastructure, server and networking experience
- Experience with Microsoft Server, SQL, Active Directory and Intune
- Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
- Experience working within ITSM / ITIL environments
- Exposure to cyber security and infrastructure security
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Relevant Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, ITIL or cyber security certifications will be highly regarded.
This is an excellent opportunity to remain technically hands-on while taking greater ownership across cloud, networking, servers, security and infrastructure projects.
